0710 Leave Manchester Airport Ryanair FR3204 Luggage 15kg. Hand baggage 55x40x20cm. Buy lunch in airport. Very limited food on plane

1055 Arrive Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino)

1300 Visit to Catacombs of San Sebastiano. Guided tour

After visit, travel to hotel. Check in at Hotel Navona

Visit to the local area including Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Gesu Church French Church

Tea at Ristorante Taverna Parione

Wander to Trevi Fountain

Return to hotel-early night!!

22^nd October 2016

Some free time near hotel, then on foot to the Vatican via some of the historical sights

12.45 Visit to Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica

Possibility of climbing the dome and/ or visiting the crypt (Dome is 7 Euros)

Break for ice cream/cup of tea before

1800 Mass in Basilica Santa Maria Sopra Minerva

1930 Meal at Rosso Pomodoro

After tea look at the excavations of Largo Argentina.

0900 Visit Museo Doria Pamphiiij , a beautiful stately home that is still a family home

Afternoon- Modern Art Museum in the Piazza del Popolo and Via Condotti so you can look in Chanel etc!

Tea Ristorante Le Lanterne

This is near the Parliament buildings so we can admire these on the way back

Shopping time near hotel and 1100 Visit to Santa Maria Sopra Minerva

1300 Colosseum and Forum and Palatine Hill

1900 Tea Ristorante Mastro Ciccia

Evening wander to Giolittl’s for ice cream- choice of over 50 flavours!
